Fouillaud, Patrice

Born March 28, 1949 - Limoges, France Patrice Fouillaud studied music at the Conservatoire de Limoges

1979 Participant in Franco Donatoni’s workshop at the “Académie de Sienne”.
1979 Intensive music studies with Franco Donatoni at the “Académie Sainte-Cécile” in Rome.
1981 First prize in composition at the “Académie Sainte-Cécile”.
1982 Director of the “Conservatoire de Villeneuve le Roi”.
1985 SACEM prize for young composers.

The works of Patrice Fouillaud have been premiered in Paris by such prestigious ensembles as 2e2m, Ars Nova, Itinéraire, and “Nouvel Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France”. They have also been played at French festivals in Angers, Metz and Orleans. On the international scene, his works have been performed by prominent artists in Sienna, Rome, Darmstadt, Detmoldt, Milan, Montreal, Tokyo, Bremen, Warsaw, and Berlin

His music is published by Durand / Universal Classical Music.
