Bruneau-Boulmier, Rodolphe

Rodolphe Bruneau-Boulmier has worked at France Musique since 2006. He has produced several series of programs (Musique à la nrf, les dames du piano, les matinales d’été, les vendredis du Philhar’, Dépêches notes …). In 2013, he presented Le Jour d'Avant, a musical creation magazine, and since 2014, En Pistes! in duet with Emilie Munera.

Rodolphe Bruneau-Boulmier is also a composer. Holder of several First Prizes from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, he gives numerous conferences (Folle jour de Nantes, Abbaye de Fontevraud, Festival d'Automne, etc.) His works have been premiered at the Radio France festival of Montpellier, Serres d’Auteuil, Solistes à Bagatelles, Cabaret contemporain and performed by pianists Claire-Marie Le Guay, Momo Kodama, Sébastien Vichard, David Violi,…

Geoffroy Couteau and François-Frédéric Guy recorded all of his piano music in 2015 for the Odradek label.

Rodolphe Bruneau-Boulmier is the 2015 laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation.

He composes Terra Nostra, a piano concerto which will be premiered in October 2021 at Berlin by the Deutsche Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and Mari Kodama at the piano under the direction of Kent Nagano. The work is published by Salabert editions.
