Calendar of premieres for October

World premiere at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris of Intérieur, a monodrama by Joan Magrané Figuera.

Much like the various artistic collaborations throughout the history of music, the collaboration between Matthias Pintscher, at the helm of the Ensemble intercontemporain, and the composer Joan Magrané Figuera has certainly grown in creative dynamism over the years.

The Parisian public of the prestigious Théâtre du Châtelet will have the privilege of discovering on 22 and 23 October the latest creation of this artistic and human bond, a monodrama entitled Intérieur, named after the eponymous play by Maurice Maeterlinck.

Staged with Silvia Costa's skilful modernity, the musicians themselves of the Ensemble Intercontemporain will be the main protagonists of this singularly dramaturgical project, as explained with unsurprising clarity and conviction by the composer in an exclusive interview.
