Joan Magrané Figuera - « L'Or de l'Azur »

Joan Magrané Figuera is a composer of the line who borrows much of his creative universe from visual art and especially Joan Miró for his festive and poetic vision.

His work Meeresstille, premiered in January in Lleida with the Franz Schubert Fhilharmonia and Tomàs Grau, is thought of as a landscape. L'or de l'azur, premiered in Barcelona in April, is a concerto for violin, which works the line as an organic material that unfolds from the violin to the large orchestra.

Passionate about the orchestra, he follows in the footsteps of composers such as George Benjamin, Salvatore Sciarrino, and especially Monteverdi

His intense activity with prestigious orchestras shows that he is a great colorist of today's orchestra. An artist to follow closely !
