Oscar Bianchi continues his collaboration with the counter-tenor from Ensemble Recherche, Daniel Gloger, and announces a new piece for voice and ensemble of nine musicians.

Two world premieres are coming up for Philippe Hersant in April. On April 2, 2015 Ensemble Les Temps Modernes and Yael Raanan Vandor (contralto) will perform his Chants séfarades in Le Toboggan. Philippe Hersant’s fourth string quartet Quatuor à cordes n° 4. Der gestirnte Himmel (The Starry Sky) will be played by Cypress String Quartet in San Francisco on April 10, 2015 for the first time.

Pascal Dusapin’s new piece In Vivo for solo violin will be premiered by Carolin Widmann at this year’s Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik.

Requested by the Musée du Louvre to write a piece to pay tribute to the Spanish painter Velásquez, in the context of the Grand Palais exhibition which is dedicated to him, Hèctor Parra chose to be inspired by the painting La Légende d’Arachné - Las Hilanderas (Les Fileuses), in order to write a third string quartet for Quatuor Tana.
