ANNIVERSARY

On 10 February, the Philharmonie de Paris and its Music Museum will launch the Xenakis centenary with a grand inauguration of the Révolutions Xenakis exhibition.

The joint organisation of the exhibition by Mâkhi Xenakis and Thierry Maniguet will offer a unique opportunity to better understand the fundamental questions surrounding the composer-architect, who would have celebrated this year his 100th birthday.

Conceived using the Xenakis family’s personal archives, the exhibition will invite visitors into the heart of the artist's studio and his research and immerse them in a veritable visual, light and sound experience.

A chronological journey, multimedia and interactive devices, and a radical experience of sound and light, all to better understand a fundamental milestone in the history of music!
