A portrait of Pascal Dusapin at the Messiaen Festival

From 21 to 30  July, the Messiaen au pays de la Meije festival will offer the rare privilege of discovering in just a short time the most representative works from Pascal Dusapin's rich chamber catalogue: the famous string quartets (nos. 1, 2 , 3, 4 and 7 by the Arditti Quartet, no.5 by the Béla Quartet), emblematic works for solo piano (Etudes by Vanessa Wagner), anthological lyrical cycles (La Natura del mondo with Barbara HanniganO Mensch! with Mitch Riley), concert pieces (Aria with Patrick Messina and the Orchestre national de Cannes) and choral works (Granum Sinapsis conducted by Nicole Corti)... without a doubt, never has such a list of contemporary masterpieces signed by the great Pascal Dusapin been presented to the public with such thoroughness and generosity.

Highlight of this very special moment: the "Carte Blanche" evening on 22 July, which will bring together Katarina and Milan Pala with those close to the composer in a particularly remarkable programme, as is customary at La Meije.
