To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cordes sur Ciel music festival, the program imagined by its artistic director Antoine Pecqueur runs through Occitania, giving visitors the opportunity to discover their repertoire, from the Baroque period to contemporary premiere, and to hear major artists and performers attached to the Occitan region. We could not have dreamed of a better curation and better context for a residence of the composer Benjamin Attahir, present from July 15 to 22 with different pieces from his catalog - cycle whose climax will take shape on July 21 with the premiere by the composer on the violin and the soprano Raquel Camarinha from the cantata Vraiment un homme à Sangatte on a text by Lancelot Hamelin, poem-lamentation of a drowning whose publication in 2011 had marked the spirits.
