More and more of you are joining us in the discovery of unknown or unpublished repertoires: following our series on the works for string orchestras, we present this week a selection of works for chamber orchestra, combining wind instruments (most often), percussion instruments (on occasion), and the five instruments from the string quintet in various combinations. A rainbow of sound, ranging from an almost chamber-like intimacy to the symphonic textures that reflect for you, we hope, the springtime colours of a rediscovered "freedom"!
