Release of Alexandre Desplat's “Airlines” record

Release of Alexandre Desplat's “Airlines” record

The aptly named Airlines, full of flight and assumption in 2018 during the premiere of Alexandre Desplat’s eponymous work with the magically weightless flute of Emmanuel Pahud, will become this autumn 2020-21 an album with a highly symbolic title.

A record, produced at the initiative and under the talented and relentless artistic direction of Solrey, in which the best of the two-time Oscar-winning composer is here combined with the sublime: a continuation of his music for Guillermo del Toro's film The Shape of Water, a recording premiere of the concert performance of Pelléas et Mélisande, which never ceases to captivate symphonic audiences since its premiere in 2013, and Birth, premiered by the Orchestre National de France (conducted by the composer in this Warner Classics production).

Making the earth the most beautiful place in the sky: mission accomplished with this fantastic opus
