Georges Aperghis in Witten 

Driven by the Ensemble Modern’s ardour and loyalty, not to mention his attachment to the Witten Festival and its sparkling programme, Georges Aperghis will premiere Hopse on 6 May, a pure music driven by a sublimated desire to dance: The little feet hop, the little feet of the children dance on the numbers written in chalk. 

Combinations forming the ladder between Heaven and Earth. The Marelle. 

The little feet hop and the world rocks according to the layout 

of their steps. Little uncertain dance. 

The geometry fades. 

Little eternal dance. 

The oracles remain silent.
